Saint Theodore of Sykeon

Born in Sykeon in Galatia, Saint Theodore was an ascetic from childhood before becoming Bishop of Anastasiopolis. Gifted with the power of prophecy and miracles, he made three pilgrimages to Jerusalem and predicted the rise of Emperor Maurice. He spent his final days in a monastery after resigning from his episcopal duties.
