Saint Thyrsus

Converted by the courage of the martyr Leucius under Emperor Decius, Thyrsus endured countless miraculously harmless tortures before dying in Miletus. His cult, marked by numerous wonders, spread from Constantinople to Sisteron, of which he is the patron saint.
