Saint Rotrude, born probably in the regio n of Thérouanne, i pays de Thérouanne Episcopal see of Saint Folquin. s noted in the martyrology of Guines as having always shown herself pleasing to God through her virtues and good works. The poor never left her without having received some assistance; she gave them with joy what she denied herself.
