Saint Ursion
Saint Ursion was the abbot of the monastery and parish priest of Isle-Aumont in the 4th century. Having died around 375, his relics were protected from the Normans at Montier-la-Celle before being moved to the church of Saint-André near Troyes. His feast day is September 29.

Life and ministry of Saint Ursion
Saint Ursion directed the monastery and parish of Isle-Aumont near Troyes in the 4th century.
Ursion governed the monastery and parish of Is le-Aumont, a few kilometers from Troye s. His death is placed around the year 375. A church was built under his patronage, near the Hozain stream. What remains of his bones and the precious shroud that enveloped them is today (1872) preserved in the beautiful chu rch of Saint-André, n ear Troyes.
Saint Maurele and the community of Isle-Aumont
Presentation of Saint Maurele, spiritual successor at Isle-Aumont and friend of Saint Lyé, who died in the 6th century.
Saint Maurele was also a religious of the monastery of Saint-Ursion and parish priest of Isle-Aumont. The details of his life have not reached us. History has only preserved the memory of the tender friendship that united him with Saint Lyé. He died around the year 545. His relics, transported to Montier- la-Celle during the incursi ons of the Normans—alon g with those of Saint Ursion, Saint Melain, Saint Phal, and Saint Exuperance—are today preserved in the church of Saint-André-lès-Troyes: this church has, moreover, inherited most of the relics of Montier-la-Celle.
Translation of the relics
The transfer of the remains of the saints from Isle-Aumont to Montier-la-Celle and then to Saint-André-lès-Troyes following the Norman invasions.
The feast of the translation at Montier-la-Celle was formerly celebrated on April 26, as we see in the Proper of Troyes of 1548; but the particular feast of Saint Maurele was on May 21, and that of Saint Ursion on Septembe r 29.
