Description of the heraldry

Detailed description of the shields representing the arms of France and the allied families of du Lis and Thieselin.

This inscription is placed below a shield semé with three fleurs-de-lis: these are the arms of France. To the right, another shield contains a sword supporting a crown with its point, surrounded by two fleurs-de-lis: these are the arms of the du Lis family, descendants of J acques d'Arc and Is abelle Romée. To the left, another shield, composed of three plowshares with a spur rowel in the middle, represents the arms of the Thiesel in family , allied to the du Lis. A sheaf of wheat and grapevines laden with grapes adorn the upper part.
